Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the services of North London Recovery. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:

  • "Company" or "We" or "Us" means North London Recovery.
  • "Customer" or "You" means the person or entity requesting and receiving services from the Company.
  • "Services" means vehicle recovery, breakdown assistance, towing, roadside assistance, and any other services provided by the Company.
  • "Vehicle" means the car, van, motorcycle, or other motor vehicle requiring recovery or assistance.
  • "Destination" means the location to which the Customer requests their Vehicle to be recovered.

2. Service Provision

2.1. We provide 24/7 vehicle recovery, breakdown assistance, and towing services across North London and surrounding areas.

2.2. When you request our Services, we will dispatch the nearest available recovery vehicle to your location. Estimated arrival times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed due to factors beyond our control, including traffic conditions, weather, and the nature of the breakdown.

2.3. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion, including but not limited to situations where the Vehicle is in an unsafe location, the Customer is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or where recovery would be unsafe for our staff.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. All prices quoted are fixed and inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. We provide transparent, fixed pricing with no hidden fees.

3.2. Payment is due upon completion of the Services, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing in advance.

3.3. We accept payment by cash, credit/debit card, and bank transfer. Payment details will be provided at the time of service.

3.4. If the Customer requests additional services or changes the destination after the recovery has commenced, additional charges may apply. These will be quoted and agreed before proceeding.

3.5. The Company reserves the right to require payment in advance for certain Services at our discretion.

4. Customer Responsibilities

4.1. The Customer must provide accurate information about the Vehicle, its location, and the nature of the breakdown when requesting Services.

4.2. The Customer must ensure the Vehicle is accessible and safe for recovery. The Customer is responsible for the removal of any personal belongings from the Vehicle before recovery, unless otherwise agreed.

4.3. The Customer must ensure that the Vehicle is not loaded with hazardous materials, illegal substances, or any goods that could pose a risk to our staff or equipment.

4.4. If the Customer is not present at the Vehicle location, they must make arrangements for keys or access to be provided. The Company is not responsible for any delays caused by lack of access.

5. Liability

5.1. We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing our Services. Our liability for any loss or damage arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid for the Services, except where such loss or damage is caused by our negligence resulting in personal injury or death.

5.2. We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to the Vehicle, damage caused by the nature of the breakdown, or damage caused by the Vehicle's condition prior to recovery.

5.3. We are not responsible for any personal belongings left in the Vehicle. It is the Customer's responsibility to remove all valuable items before recovery.

5.4. We are not liable for any consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of earnings, missed appointments, or business interruption arising from the breakdown or recovery process.

5.5. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Cancellation

6.1. If you wish to cancel a requested service, you must notify us as soon as possible. If a recovery vehicle has already been dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply to cover our costs.

6.2. If our recovery vehicle arrives and the Customer is not present or the Vehicle is not accessible, a call-out fee may be charged.

7. Limitation of Service

7.1. We reserve the right to refuse to recover any Vehicle that is in a dangerous condition, is overloaded, or contains hazardous materials.

7.2. We may, at our discretion, choose to perform minor roadside repairs where safe and practical to do so. Such repairs are provided as a courtesy and do not guarantee the Vehicle's ongoing roadworthiness.

7.3. If a roadside repair is attempted and is unsuccessful, standard recovery charges will apply.

8. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these terms if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, severe weather conditions, traffic congestion, or industrial action.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. By continuing to use our Services, you agree to be bound by the latest version of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
